Canceling a Lesson

My cancelation policy, please read...

-I require a 24-hour notice before canceling a lesson. If 24 hours is given before a cancelation, you will be given credit for that paid lesson. If 24 hours is not given, no refund is given for that missed lesson.

*Exceptions to this include sickness and emergency situations.

-In the event of school cancellations because of inclement weather, I make every attempt to continue with lessons as oftentimes the weather improves as the day wears on. If I cannot safely drive to your home for lessons, I will call and let you know that lessons are canceled. Assume that there are lessons unless you hear from me.

*You will not be held financially responsible for missed lessons due to weather.

-Canceled lessons cannot be rescheduled due to the manner of lessons and my schedule.

- "Tardy" for lessons/ "No Shows": If you do not come for your scheduled lesson time or not home within 10 minutes of your scheduled lesson, lessons are canceled and no credit is given.

*If there are excessive cancellations of lessons, I will have to reevaluate your scheduled lesson time and forfeiture of your scheduled piano lesson time with me may result.
